Breakfast Shop in Somers Point

This is a family favorite stop whenever we go to ocean city NJ. The fried combination platter can serve two. And I also like the fried scallops too!

It's seafood fast food. The food is always good, but there's also always a wait, especially in the summer.

Amazing seafood. Definitely a place you want to get to early in order to get a good seat. Seafood is always fresh and comes out very quickly. The specials of the day are always great!During these "pandemic days" it is very hard to place an order over the phone. Best to just go in person and wait in line. Enjoy the sounds of the bay.

AMAZING!!! I am from the area and look forward to the seasons opening day every single year. The atmosphere is laid back, can BYOB, incredible food and kid friendly. It's located on the bay, surrounded by boat docs, so while your waiting to be seated, you have a beautiful view as well as buckets of chalk for the kids (and adults) to make the time very pleasant. The staff works together as a team and it works smoothly. It's cash only so remember to hit the ATM.

the stuffed seafood potato was poor as the seafood was over cooked and tough. Cheese steak was excellent.

This place is so popular that even with 3 phones going, it's next to impossible to place an order. You're better off going there and standing in line. Once you place your order, you're about 15-20 minutes away from the deliciousness my wife and I have known for about 45 years. Thursday night seafood stuffed potatoes is a "must try."

I hope the clams are better then the calamari. Smh. The worst I've ever eaten. Crab and corn soup is just ok. How come some of the seafood places at the beach have the worst seafood? I know the locals probably love this place. Maybe I just came on a bad day.

Can't say enough about their red clam chowder. So excellent. But everything there is really really really delicious. Run there before they close for the winter!!!!

As always, Smitty's makes excellent food. The clam chowder is the best you can get anywhere.

Amazing seafood restaurant, even for a 2.5 hour wait! Tradition dictates packing a cooler for drinks while you wait (make sure to get a cup after having your ID checked). Make sure to also get the cole slaw as its phenomenol along with the steamer clams, Also, during peak times, their lots will fill up so street parking can be a hassle. However, the food is cheap and great (cheap even for seafood) and service is friendly and fast. Down home folks serving up great food along the water!
